TERMS
1. WHAT THE BIGGEST EGO IS
The Biggest Ego is a public entertainment leaderboard where companies, projects and other organisations can accumulate “Ego” points.
£1 buys 1 Ego point. The minimum purchase is £10. Ego is a leaderboard score only. It has no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash, and is not an investment, security, financial product or ownership interest.
2. WHAT YOU ARE BUYING
When you pay to inflate an Ego, you are purchasing an increase to the Ego score displayed on The Biggest Ego leaderboard.
Paying does not give you ownership of, control over, or authority to act for the company, project or listing concerned. It does not give you the right to edit or control an existing listing.
3. WHO CAN CREATE OR INFLATE A LISTING
A new listing may only be submitted by the company, project or other entity being listed, or by a person authorised to represent it. By submitting a new listing, you confirm that you have authority to do so. Unauthorised listings breach these Terms and may be rejected or removed.
Once a listing exists, anyone may purchase Ego for it. A third party purchasing Ego for a listing does not mean that the listed company created, paid for, approved or endorsed that purchase.
4. NEW LISTINGS
New listings may be reviewed before publication. We may reject, edit, merge, correct or remove listings where reasonably necessary, including duplicate, misleading, unlawful, abusive or inappropriate submissions.
If a substantially identical listing already exists, Ego purchased for a duplicate submission may be applied to the existing listing instead.
5. LEADERBOARD AND CLOSING DATE
The leaderboard is ranked by Ego score. Subject to correction of errors, the listing with the highest Ego score when the leaderboard closes will hold the title: THE BIGGEST EGO — SEPTEMBER 2026.
The current leaderboard closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 30 September 2026.
No prize, cash payment or other item of value is promised for finishing first unless we expressly state otherwise in separate written terms.
6. PAYMENTS
Payments are processed by Stripe. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged.
Ego will normally be added only after successful payment confirmation. Failed, cancelled or incomplete payments do not entitle you to Ego.
7. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Because Ego is normally applied to the public leaderboard shortly after successful payment, please check the company and amount carefully before paying.
If a payment has been duplicated, charged incorrectly, or Ego has not been supplied as described, contact us and we will investigate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any refund, cancellation or other right that you have under applicable law, including rights that may apply where you are acting as a consumer.
8. CORRECTIONS AND REMOVALS
If you represent a company or organisation listed on The Biggest Ego and believe a listing is inaccurate or should be removed, contact us. We may ask you to verify that you are authorised to represent that organisation.
Removal or correction of a listing does not necessarily create an entitlement to payment of the listing's Ego value or to a refund of purchases made by unrelated third parties, except where required by law.
9. CRYPTO LISTINGS
Crypto listings are Ego-only. They may display a name, logo, category and Ego score, but must not contain investment promotions, prices, returns, APY claims, buy/invest language, contract addresses or similar financial promotional material.
Rankings are based solely on Ego purchased and are not investment recommendations or endorsements.
10. MISUSE
You must not use The Biggest Ego to submit unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, impersonating or deliberately misleading material, or to infringe another person's intellectual-property rights.
We may remove content, restrict activity or take other reasonable action where necessary to protect the site, its users or third parties.
11. AVAILABILITY AND ERRORS
We try to keep leaderboard scores and payment processing accurate, but technical errors can occur. We may correct obvious errors, duplicate transactions, fraudulent transactions or erroneous leaderboard updates.
We may temporarily suspend the site where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or technical reasons.
12. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, The Biggest Ego is an entertainment leaderboard and should not be relied upon for investment, financial, commercial or professional decisions.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights that already apply to a completed transaction.
